Landmark Project Success
Entrust Services first secured planning permission for a single 126.5m high wind turbine at Ballincurry from An Bord Pleanala in October 2014, overcoming an initial refusal by the Planning Authority. At the time, this was the highest single wind turbine development consented in Ireland. Following this, Entrust achieved planning consent for a second wind turbine at Ballincurry in August 2016, a 138m high turbine, also overcoming an initial refusal. The cumulative generation capacity of these two consented wind turbines at Ballincurry is approximately 9MW.
