Public Consultation Services
Garnering public support for large-scale infrastructure projects

Engaging with communities and stakeholders early in the planning process isn’t just a requirement—it’s the foundation for trust, collaboration, and better outcomes. Our public consultation services ensure clear communication, giving people the opportunity to shape projects that impact their surroundings.

Transparent Public Consultation for Successful Planning
Clear and transparent communication with key stakeholders is an essential part of the planning process. Early engagement with local communities, councilors, planning authorities, and public bodies is not only a statutory requirement in many cases, but it also demonstrates our commitment to sharing comprehensive, correct information, thereby building trust and giving people a chance to have their say to help shape development proposals.

We have significant experience in hosting public exhibitions and drop-in centres for large-scale infrastructure projects, using digital technology to create all relevant event materials including brochures, graphics, A1 boards, questionnaires, photomontages and 3D models for interactive consultation with local communities and local public representatives.
We have built a large number of 3D models for infrastructure proposals in their host landscapes, which are displayed on 50” screens.
This enables a truly interactive engagement experience with local residents, at public events, so that a proposal can be viewed from any particular point in the surrounding environment to help assess its landscape and visual impact from any specific point.
We have provided advanced GIS mapping solutions and spatial analysis for thousands of projects including telecommunications masts, utility scale solar and wind, electricity infrastructure, EV Charging and energy storage.
We have extensive experience in identifying optimal development sites, assessing visual impacts, and navigating planning constraints. This allows us to present clear and accurate analysis of a development’s visual influence on various designations, i.e. heritage, landscape, ecology and residential amenity to Planning Authorities, Public Bodies and other stakeholders.
Large scale projects can sometimes trigger negative connotations in local communities, so our goal is to work with people to try to remove barriers and objections, through appropriate landscaping and biodiversity mitigation initiatives, thereby often making such proposals more acceptable and thereby increasing the deployment of appropriate infrastructure.
Addressing differing or conflicting stakeholder concerns from the outset of the project requires clear, timely communication. We achieve this through a range of measures including workshops, drop-in sessions, public exhibitions and events along with accompanying adverts.
Our aim is to proactively engage, support and inform all stakeholders throughout the process, helping to reduce delays and unnecessary costs.
