Entrust secured planning permission for a single 79m to tip, 500kW de-rated wind turbine in Leicestershire.

Entrust was responsible for the entire planning process, from the initial feasibility study to attendance at planning committee, where it was granted planning permission by Charnwood District Council in 2014. The planning application consisted of a suite of environmental reports, a number of which were produced in-house including the plans, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment with accompanying photomontages, ZTV and wireframes, Noise and Shadow Flicker Reports.

Following the grant of planning permission, Entrust worked tirelessly for a period of almost 2 years to have a planning condition relating to the turbine’s impact on East Midland's airport’s radar system discharged and to allow the project to proceed to be built which was successful.
